HoopTrac is a basketball stat tracking app. It is local-first: your games are stored on your device and work fully offline. This policy explains what information we collect when you choose to use online features, and how we handle it.
Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address, your name, and a securely hashed version of your password. An account is optional — the app works without one.
Game data. If you sign in, the games you save (team names, player names and numbers, and per-player stats) are synced to our servers so you can access them across devices.
Purchase status. If you subscribe to HoopTrac Premium, the purchase is processed by Apple (or Google Play). We receive your subscription status — active or expired — from RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. We never see your payment details.
We do not show ads, sell your data, or use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any device data beyond what is described above.
All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Authentication tokens are stored in your device's encrypted secure storage.
Your synced data is kept as long as your account exists. You can delete individual games in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below and we will remove it within 30 days.
HoopTrac does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Creating an account is optional and intended for adults (coaches and parents). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the app's release notes.
